Social Media Strategist

Singapore Full Time

Established in December 2013, Public Culture is a forward-thinking studio whose work challenges the interactions — or lack of — between people, spaces, and convention. We work with clients to launch or progress their business by holding tactical meetings, devising operation plans, and conquering peaks of the not so physical kind. Unlike traditional outfits, Public Culture straddles the position between an external agency and an internal team, offering fresh external perspective with strong internal support.

Responsibilities

  • Strategise and manage client accounts on Facebook and Instagram across various sectors (fashion & shopping, homewares & furniture, design, fitness, F&B)
  • Community management through Facebook Messenger and Instagram DM, and comments on relevant posts and pages
  • Manage monthly ad spend and monitor ad performances
  • Oversee and execute advertising strategy. Make advertising recommendations based on campaign objectives
  • Deliver monthly social media content calendar and reports for each account
  • Conduct photo shoots and IG stories development on a regular basis

Working arrangement:

  • You must be comfortable working on your own time from home with mandatory weekly meetings
  • This is a full-time role with 4 months' probation

Requirements

  • Must be proficient in English
  • Must have at least 2 years' experience in social media marketing, including strategy and execution. Agency experience is preferred.
  • Must have working knowledge of photography and be up-to-date on all social media functionalities across Facebook and Instagram
  • Knowledge of videography is preferred
  • Must be Singaporean or a Singapore Permanent Resident
  • Candidates must submit a portfolio (with account and content examples) and CV to be considered for this role
